Ms. Jacqueline Denise Andrews passed away peacefully on November 19, 2023, at Hospice Home at High Point.

A Funeral Service will be held on December 8, 2023, at 10:00am at Triumphant Church of Jesus Christ 9401 Church Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11212. With Interment following in the Rosedale Cemetery in Linden, NJ.

The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00am.

A Public Viewing will be held on December 2, 2023, at Woodard Broadnax Funeral Service 1207 4th St. Greensboro, NC 27405 from 12:00-5:00pm.

Jacqueline (Jackie) Denise Andrews was born on February 17, 1952 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Essie Mae (Andrews) Johnson.  She departed this earthly life on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 9:55am in the Piedmont Hospice Care facility in High Point, North Carolina near her home in Greensboro North Carolina where she lived for the last 16 years of her life.

 Jackie was educated in the public school system in Brooklyn, New York.  She received her GED in 1989.  She was employed as a barmaid for many years to support her children.  In 1987 she was employed by The City of New York as a Traffic Enforcement Agent.  She received outstanding performance rewards in 1988 and 1992.  During her teenage years of life she was a member of the St. James Holiness Church in Brooklyn, New York where she enjoyed singing in the church choir and she could really beat a tambourine.  She also enjoyed making gift baskets, flower arrangements and attempting to play golf like her sister.  She was a member New Direction Prayer and Praise Outreach Ministry under the direction of her Aunt, Pastor Lily Chestnut.

 Jackie was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and great aunt.  Jackie was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Diedre Andrews Tubman.  Jackie leaves to cherish her precious memories her daughter Jacqueline Denise Andrews and her partner David of Severn, Maryland, 3 grandson’s Timothy Tubman Jr, Donte and Marquis Tubman of Brooklyn, New York; 1 great grandson Timothy Tubman III of Brooklyn, New York; 6 sisters, Darline Miller-Atwater of Springfield, Massachusetts, Audrey Johnson of Queens, New York, Denise Johnson of Staten Island, New York, Barbara Williams of Poconos, Pennsylvania, Stephanie Williams and her husband Kevin and Cecelia Cerezo of Allentown, Pennsylvania, 3 brothers, Milton Andrews of Allentown, Pennsylvania, Mason Kinsey and Walter “Jimmy” Feacher of Brooklyn, New York, 1 sister in law Shelia Andrews , 2 brother in laws, Oliver Keller and Kevin Williams and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
