Mrs. Rose Marie Moore

Rose Marie Moore, daughter of the late Robert Morehead and Mollie Sue Fultz, was born June 12,1948 in Rockingham County, NC. She departed this life on March 3, 2024.  Marie graduated from Northwest Guilford High School. She was a faithful member of Fairgrove Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an usher, children’s Sunday school teacher, church custodian and missionary and gospel choir president. 

Marie loved her family well. She possessed a loving, caring spirit and a gentle disposition. Her contagious laugh echoed wherever she was. She committed herself to excellence in whatever task was before her. She loved the Lord and always lifted her family and others up in prayer.

Marie leaves to cherish her loving memory: husband of 55 years, Roger Lewis Moore; two sons, Roger Leon Moore (Faith) of McLeansville, NC and Christopher Andre Moore, Sr. (Nichole) of Greensboro, NC; five grandchildren, La’Sheena Warren (Devon) of Desborough Kettering, United Kingdom, Shakilah Parker of Charlotte, NC, Camia Moore, Christoper Moore, Jr. of Greensboro, NC and Justin Moore of McLeansvile, NC; six great grandchildren, Miiyah, Maliyah, Mariyah, C’Andre, Devon, Jr., and Koah; two sisters, Carolyn Mintz (James) of Summerfield, NC and Katie Barfield of Browns Summit, NC; one brother, Bishop Morris Morehead (Patsy) of Browns Summit, NC; two aunts, Annie Reid and Christine Brown of Greensboro, N.C.; two special friends, Melisssa Dean and Elisabeth Smith; as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents Rose Marie was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Robert Morehead and one sister, Dorothy Galloway.
