Mrs. Ophelia Motley

Mrs. Ophelia Dianne Carter Motley, better known as Phoebe, was born on March 11, 1954.   She put on her wings and entered the Heavenly gates departing from Wesley Long Memorial Hospital on March 3, 2023, at the age of 68.

Phoebe was the youngest daughter of Roy and Margaret Bass Carter who preceded her in death.  Her oldest sister, Shirley Ann Carter Graham also preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Terry Lee Motley and son Terros Mareo Motley (Jennifer), grandson, Carter Neil Motley and granddaughter, Tessa Margaret Motley, one sister, Janice Kay Carter all of Greensboro, NC, a god sister, Sonya Richey (John) of Stockbridge, GA and a godbrother, Roy Mark Jr. (Nancy) of Greensboro, NC. and a host of other family and friends.
