Mr. Jeffrey Wallace Brunson

We are celebrating the life of Jeffrey Wallace Brunson, the Son of James and Henrietta Washington. He was born October 6, 1975, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Jeffrey went on to his afterlife on June 1, 2023.

He was a loyal and loving Dad, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, and cousin to his family. He was the one who always had a level head in moments when others lost their cool. Jeff genuinely loved people and cared for his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his kindness and grace.

Jeff loved to make people laugh, which he took for this father, James. He loved playing basketball, painting wildlife, drawing and writing poetry, but his true passion was body building. He competed in several body building contests throughout his life and was exceptionally good at it.

Jeff was a graduate of Grimsley Senior High School and went on to develop several trades along with working at O’Reilly’s Distribution Center and Triad Fabrications and Machine. 

He was proceeded in death by Father James Washington, Grandmother Lillie Moore, Grandfather John Brunson, Uncles Edward, Lynnwood, Sylvester, and Waldo Brunson, and a host of other relatives. 

He leaves to mourn him, three sons Niandre Woods, Tykwon Burton, and Jaren Evans, Mother Henrietta Washington, Two sisters Joyce Washington Wilson (Christopher) of Greensboro NC and Shanna Wilkerson on Clayton NC, Nephews Lynden, Eli, Griffin, Shaquan, and Shamire, Nieces Ava Lily and Ida Sky, Great Nieces Serenity and Sanaa along with a host of other family members.
