Evangelist Latron J. Morehead

Evangelist Latron J. Morehead was born September 12, 1979, to Morris and Patsy P. Morehead in Greensboro, NC. He departed this life on March 16, 2023.

Latron was a graduate of Smith High School class of 1998 and later attended A&T State University of Greensboro, NC. He was employed at Bank of America for twelve years and National Insurance Company until his health declined.  One year later he attended Charlotte Christian College and Theological Seminary in which he was an honor student.

Latron or Tron as many people called him, was an essential part of the ministry at Greater Stepping Stone Church. He was a Sunday School Teacher, bible study teacher, choir director, songster, worship leader, drummer, a gospel comedian, and most of all he was an anointed preacher.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Mollie Sue Morehead, Maternal grandparents, John Lee and Melian Perkins.

To rejoice and cherish in his memory are his parents, Bishop Morris Morehead and 1st Lady Patsy P. Morehead; one brother, Titus R. Morehead; two sons, Jashaun and Josiah; three daughters, Genesis, Gabrielle, and Aria all of Greensboro, NC; godfather, Harry Jeffries; godmother, Stormy Sheff and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
